REND COLLECTIVES are a Northern Irish Christian experimental, folk rock church group. The song was 
released on January 5 in 2018 and was the second single from their ninth album Good News. The group revealed the significance of the music in an interview with Hallels: “Have you ever been in a state of depression or belief that God’s plan was not adequate? This is where the meaning behind the song is derived from. This song was born in a period of depressing times, as we needed to remind ourselves of the faithfulness and goodness of God. The song isn’t just a simple Christian expression for us, but rather a fight cry, an attitude that will help us get through the darkest of days. We hope that this song will serve as a source of encouragement whatever situation you’re in. ”
Although we might comprehend God’s promises, it doesn’t necessarily mean that we are in a position to believe they’re true.
