Who Is Deitrick Haddon
Deitrick Vaughn, an American Gospel Singer, and Songwriter was born May 17, 1973. He is also a music producer and pastor. His most notable works include progressive gospel and modern styles of music.
Haddon began his solo career in 2002 as a Christian R&B singer with the Lost & Found group on Tyscot/Verity.
It peaked at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Charts and received wide critical acclaim and spawned the hit “Sinner’s Prayer” which was played extensively on gospel and mainstream R&B radio stations. Deitrick married Damita Chandler in 1996 but divorced her in 2011.
Haddon and Gerald produced the comeback album Brand New Day, released for veteran gospel singer Vanessa Bell Armstrong. In addition, Deitrick Haddon and Voices of Unity’s Live the Life were awarded the Gospel Music Workshop of America Excellence Award for “New Artist of the year–Urban Contemporary” and “Album of the year–Urban Contemporary.”
Haddon released Revealed on September 2, 2008. The album also includes the hit single “Love Him like I Do,” which features Mary and Ruben Strudard. Haddon’s film debut was made in a movie called Blessed & Cursed on July 27, 2010.
Haddon’s fifth album, Church on the Moon, was released by Verity Records on January 25, 2012. It debuted at No. The album debuted at No. 65 on the Billboard 200.
Haddon is part of the cast of the reality television series Preachers in L.A. The show chronicles six Los Angeles pastors, including Haddon. The show premiered on October 9, 2013, and is currently airing on the Oxygen channel in the United States.
He is now married to Dominique Haddon (nee McTyre). They have two daughters, Denver and Destin, as well as one son, Deitrick II. Haddon and his wife now attend Hill City Church in Los Angeles. Haddon is the senior pastor, and Dominique is the executive pastor.
