Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, producer, and worshipper Bishop releases “You Are My King,” his debut single. Mr. Soul produced it.
Marcel Chris Tochukwu is also known as Bishop. He was born in Anambra State, Nigeria’s Eastern region. He began his musical journey at the age of 10.
Bishop started writing songs at the age of 14 and was a leader of the choir of his teen church, the Assemblies of God church Egbeda branch, Lagos-Nigeria. He has been writing inspiring and uplifting music since then.
Bishop’s unique blend of Soul, Pop, and Highlife has been perfected over the years. It is all about inspiring people and positively affecting their lives.
Soul Winning was formed in 2010 by the singer and songwriter. As a result, they could perform on essential platforms alongside some of Nigeria’s most prominent names in music.
His musical influences include legends like Marvin Sapp and Israel Houghton and contemporary singers like John legend and Tevin Campbell.
He is widely regarded as one of Nigeria’s most sincere worshippers and has had the privilege of working alongside some of the best worship ministers in Nigeria.
