Darwin Hobbs’ single “Call the Name of Jesus” is out. The long-awaited single was finally released. Hobbs took a break from the recording studio to concentrate on his healing and his family. He also remained active in his role as a worship pastor.
“Call the Name of Jesus” is released by HeartArt Music, founded by Hobbs and Traci. It reunites Hobbs with producer Aaron Lindsey.
Darwin Hobbs was signed to EMI Gospel Records (now Motown Gospel). He has released seven solo albums. Each solidified his reputation as a “singer” who delivers worship music and atmosphere-shifting music. Hobbs left EMI to release Champion: Live under a joint venture agreement with Universal Music. The album was nominated for the Stellar Gospel Music Award as Best Praise & Worship Album of the Year.
Hobbs is respected, valued, and highly appreciated for his ability to create worship experiences that change lives and impact the church’s worship culture. He was Worship Pastor at many of the nation’s most progressive churches. His song “Call the Name of Jesus” received support from radio stations, including Erica Campbell, who premiered the song in the United States.
Darwin Hobbs says, “I had been singing that song in worship for a while. It is perfectly fitting considering all the challenges our society is facing,” Hobbs states. “The message is clear: those who are disciples of Jesus should call on Him constantly and make a strong stand for Him.
Hobbs believes that worshippers committed to perfecting their heart through an intimate relationship with God and the art of worship are the most effective.

Lyrics to Call the name of Jesus by Darwin Hobbs
Call the name of Jesus
He is our healer
Call the name of Jesus
He is our provider
Call the name of Jesus
He is our protector
Call the name of Jesus
He is our strong deliverer
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Call the name of Jesus (yes)
He is our healer
(Call the name) call the name of Jesus (He is our provider)
He is our provider
(Call the name) call the name of Jesus
He is our protector (call the name)
Call the name of Jesus (some mother knows him as a delivery)
He is our deliverer
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
There’s no name that is greater
That is stronger than our savior
(There’s no name that is greater
That is stronger than our savior)
(There’s no name that is greater
That is stronger than our savior)
(There’s no name that is greater
That is stronger than our savior)
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh (oh Jesus, oh Jesus) Oh oh oh
That is stronger than our savior
That is stronger than our savior)
That is stronger than our savior)
That is stronger than our savior)
Somebody give him the glory
Yes, he is
Every town confess that
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
He is our healer
Call the name of Jesus
He is my everything
I love to call him Jesus (Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus)
I love to call you Jesus (Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus)
Something happens when I call you
Something happens when I call you)
Something happens when I call you
Something happens when I call you)
When I call your name
When I call you
