American Gospel Group Elevation Worship has released a single featuring the live performance of the song “Mighty Cross.”
The Elevation Worship was initially the musical arm for the Elevation Church. This multi-site church is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, founded by Steven Furtick in 2006. The original group consisted of Chris Brown, Mack Brock, and Wade Joye, who sang and played the guitar. Furtick also contributed to their songwriting.
Their music is influenced by both rock and pop music but also has a touch of classical music. They are passionate and polished, and their performances speak loudly to their beliefs.
Their debut album, entitled “Live worship,” was released in 2006. The Sound followed in 2007 and 2008, respectively. In 2010, their breakthrough success album, Kingdom Come, was released. They have continued to delight us with their amazing songs since then.
